Mrs. Lilly Hardman, 56, wife of David Hardman, 249 1/2 East Main street, died Monday at 4:25 p. m. in Newark hospital after a long illness. She was admitted to the hospital Sept 16.
The former Lilly Willetts, she was a native of Worcestershire, England, born July 7, 1890, and came to Newark in 1912. Her husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Whittier and Mrs. James Kelly, both of Newark, and a sone David W. Hardman of Akron, survive; also three grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers, who live in England.
Mrs. Hardman was a member of Trinity Episcopal church and the Eagles auxiliary.
The body is at the Gutliph & Henderson funeral home and funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a. m. in Trinity Episcopal church. Rev. Thomas P. Simpson will conduct the service and burial will be made in Jacksontown cemetery.
