Campey, Lucille H. Planters, Paupers, and Pioneers: English Settlers in Atlantic Canada. National Heritage Books, 2010, page 298: Nicholas Pearson, age 40 arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the ship Mary from the Port of Stockton (19-26 April 1774) to seek better employment. His occupation was shoemaker. He was accompanied by his wife Esther, age 36, with 3 children aged 10, 6 &1.
Longley, Ronald Stewart. The Wolfeville United Baptist Church, 1954, pages 7-8:
On October 29, 1778, Alline with ten Baptists, Nicholas Pierson, Benjamin Kinsman, Jr., Peter Bishop, Benjamin Sanford, John Coldwell, John Clark, Silas Beales, Daniel Huntley, Mrs. Hannah Pelton Kinsman, and Esther Pierson, met at Horton, and organized a Baptist Church.
Unfortunately we know little about the Founders, except that most of them were New England Planters and were born in Connecticut or Massachusetts. In 1778 Bishop was 43, Sanford 46, Coldwell 42, Kinsman and his wife about 35, and Esther Pierson 17 [probably the daughter of Abijah Pearson, and not a relative of Nicholas].
