Phebe Canfield Will dated 28 July 1690, widow, lists all of her children except Thomas Canfield Jr. who was dead. His son Thomas Canfield was listed to receive a legacy from his grandmother. The records of the First Church of Milford, state that Abiram son of sister Rebeckah Canfield was baptised 5 Jan 1689: a note says "born after fathers death." The evidence is conclusive that Thomas Canfield (son) died in 1689.
