Death
GOHEEN. Alice Bell Goheen, 86 yrs, 3 mo, 29 days, of Newbern, died at Jersey County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient for a month. Funeral services were held on New Years Day at Jacoby Brothers funeral home in Jerseyville. Rev Roland Hastie, Pastor of the Assembly of God Church officiated and burial was in Oak Grove cemetery. She was born in Greene county, August 30, 1882, a daughter of the late James & Fanny (Admire) Ashford. Surviving are 4 sons, Harry, Charles and Lester Goheen, Dow, and Ernest of Godfrey; 2 daughters, Mrs Lela Johnson and Mrs Bessie Daniels of Dow; 22 grandchildren, and 3 - incompleteEndnotes
