I William P Tillery County of Meigs State of Tennessee being in feeble health and of sound disposing mind memory calling to memory the fragility and uncertainty of human life and being desirous of settling my earthly affairs and directing how the estates with which it pleased God to bless me shall be dispensed of after my decease while I have strength and capacity to so do. Do make my last will and testament hereby making and making null and void all previous last Will and Testaments by me heretofore and made and first I command my immortal being to him who gave it and my body be buried with little expense oscitation by my executor here to after named And my worldly estate and all the property real personal or mixed which I shall dirt seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose there of in the manner following to wit.1 st My Will is all my just debts and funeral expenses by my executor hereinafter named be paid out of any estate as so after my decease as continent.
and I Will that my beloved wife Elba Ann Tillery have a comfortable support out of my estate during her natural life
3rd I will that in carrying out the above clauses my land shall be rents out during her natural life after that sufficient raised for the support of my wife Eliza Ann Tillery also to pay the taxes on said real estate
4th I will that should my wife Eliza Ann Tillery become a heavy charge that estate shall pay the expense of the same (reasonable
5th I Will that should my Executors shall rent the lands for one third of the crops gathered and deliver and also to keep the lands in reasonable repair likewise
6th I Will that none of my timber shall be used or sold except what is exactly necessary to keep the lands in repair
7th I Will that at the death of my beloved wife Eliza Ann Tillery all the property that I am now or may be seized or possessed shall be deviled among my legal hires
Lastly I do nominate and appoint my son W P Tillery to be the executor of my last Will and Testament subscribed by my name and affix my seal before these witnesses this 3rd day of April One thousand eight hundred eighty four
