Individual Details

LILLIAN MAY COREY

(22 Jun 1892 - 21 Jan 1967)

By one of the vagaries of computer genealogy, this lineage is continued through Lillian, rather than Moses, which happens when first cousins marry. This family lived in New Canaan. The cause of Moses' early death is not now known. Lillian remarried and outlived Moses by many years.

Blois Corey mentions Moses as one of the first in New Canaan to own a car, in 1917. His headstone in Canaan Road Cemetery also mentions "3 infants' -- these were the two unknown boys, and Myrtle, who died aged two. [Corey Book]
