Individual Details

LEVINA RYDER

(1841 - Bef 1871)

Little is known about the lives of this family. By the will of her father, Levina was remembered with the sum of 25 Pounds. She appears in the New Canaan census of 1861, newly married. However by the 1871 census their two children Henrietta and Norman were living with their uncle Norman Ryder in Wheaton Settlement. It is presumed that both Levina and George died before 1871. Their children were raised first by Norman Ryder Fam#57 and Permelia Wheaton, then by Alexander Ryder and Permelia Wheaton (Fam#61).
