Obituary: Dated Jan 11, 1962 - Mrs. Query, 91, Dies Friday; Funeral M onday. M rs. Mellisse Query, 91 years old, died Friday at her home i n Jordan Village. S he was born in Owen County, June 15, 1870 a daugh ter of the late James and Nanc y Sipple Boes. She was married to Will iam Query who preceded her in death in 1 943. Mrs. Query was a life-l ong member of Old Carolina Baptist Church. Surviv ors include six dau ghters and three sons, namely, Mrs. Ethel Cook, Poland rte 1 ; Mrs. Le tha Schopmeyer, Poland; Mrs. Nellie Phillips, Camby; Mrs. Mabel Bandy , Indianapolis; Mrs.s. Ruby Grace, Fort Wayne; Roy Query of Havanna , Arkansas; C lyde Query, Spencer rte. 4; and Harold Query of Spencer . Other survivors inclu de the one sister, Mrs. Cora Leith of Brazil . She also leaves 32 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Her h usband and one son preceded her in death. F ollowing death, the bod y was brought to the West & Son Funeral Home where final rites were p lanned by the family. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon a t two o'clock at the Jordan Village Nazarene Church, Rev. J. Randall , officia ting. Internment was made in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
