Obituary: Benjamin H. Query son of Hardin died Feb 26, 1880 age 17 yrs . He died of consumption at the residence of his cousin Miles Q uery . His father, mother and a brother (Isaac T. Query) have died withi n the l ast four years, all of consumption. Nine Children and the fat her and mother of this family have crossed the river of death and res t together at the church ya rd of Pleasant Grove. Three little childr en in the care of an aunt in western Missouri are the only surviving m embers of this once interesting and much respe cted family of northwes tern Owen. Ben was a young man of fine intellect and sp otless charac ter. Within the last year he was united with the M.E. Church, and i n his last days on earth expressed himself as ready and willing to lea ve this world that has furnished his young heart so many trying ordea ls. He believed that "we shall know each other there". J.L.M.
