Funeral services will be on Monday, January 26, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park for Loraine C. Harren age 84 of Waite Park who died Friday, January 23, 2004 at the Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park. Reverend Ronald Weyrens will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Waite Park. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. The Christian Women will pray at 6:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Loraine was born on November 3, 1919 in Rockville, Minnesota to Nicolas and Cecelia (Dietman) Strack. She married Wendelin C. Harren on June 18, 1940 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park. Loraine lived in Waite Park most of her life. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Parish and Christian Women.
Survivors include her children, Mary Ann Illies and her husband Dave of St. Cloud, Eileen Dickison and her husband Verlin of Waite Park, Michael and his wife Ghitti of Goshen, Indiana, Robert and his wife Roberta of Becker, and Therese Urzi and her husband Joseph of Waite Park; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Savage, LaVerne Christen and Eleanor Strack all of Waite park.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on March 18, 1984; granddaughter, Cheryl Meeks; brother, Herbert; and sister Clara Blommer. Memorials or Mass Offerings are preferred in lieu of flowers. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
