Funeral Services will be 9:30 AM on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Eileen C. Harren-Dickison, age 62, of St. Cloud, who died unexpectedly on Thursday at her home. Burial will take place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Monday and after 8:30 AM on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Sauk Rapids VFW Post 6992 Auxiliary will pray at 5 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 6 PM.
Eileen was born January 7, 1943 in St. Cloud to Wendelin and Lorraine (Strack) Harren. She graduated from St. Cloud Cathedral High School. She married Verlan "Dick" Dickison on December 17, 1999 in St. Cloud. She was a member of the St. Cloud Eagles Aerie 622 Auxiliary, Waite Park American Legion Post 428 Auxiliary and Sauk Rapids VFW Post 6992 Auxiliary.
Surviving Eileen is: her husband Verlan of St. Cloud, her 3 sons from a previous marriage Jim (Shannon) Aleshire of Waite Park, Chris (Leah) Aleshire of St. Cloud and Bill Aleshire of St. Cloud, 5 grandchildren, her 5 stepchildren Marsha (Leon) Pietrzak of Sauk Rapids, Grant (Donna) Dickison of Rochester, Gwen (Tom) Snell of Cokato, Janelle Philippi of Howard Lake and Jodie (Bob) Martins of Waite Park, 15 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren and brothers and sisters Mary Ann (Dave) Illies of St. Cloud, Bob (Roberta) Harren of Becker, Mike (Ghitti) Harren of Goshen, Indiana and Therese (Joe) Urzi of Waite Park. Preceding her in death were her parents Wendelin (1984) and Lorraine (2003).
