Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Monday, August 30, 2004 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Ernest J. "Ernie" Fuchs age 87 of Paynesville who died Friday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Burial will take place in St. Louis Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 PM Sunday (TODAY) at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville. Parish prayers will be at 8 PM. Visitation will resume after 10 AM on Monday at the church.
Ernie was born on April 12, 1917 in Lake Henry, Minnesota to Nicholas and Mathilda (Lieser) Fuchs. He married Aurelia A. Fischbach on May 30, 1944 at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Lake Henry. He worked as a farmer and carpenter in New Munich and later Paynesville. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of Paynesville; son, Jerry (Sheryl) Fuchs (Foxx) of Minnetonka; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Joe Foxx; and sister, Adella Wuertz of Lake Henry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Adeline Binczik.
