Formerly of Melrose and New Munich
Gerald N.Foxx (formerly Fuchs), previously of Melrose and New Munich area, passed away unexpectedly May 29 at age 63.
He is survived by wife Sheryl; son, Joseph; daughter, Jennifer (Foxx) Sundberg; son-In-law, Ross; grandson, Blake; mother, Aurelia Fuchs of Paynesville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Fuchs. There were two loves in Jerry's life, his family and sports. Jerry was a member of the Minnesota Gophers baseball team, in the Minnesota Twins Minor leagues and in the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame. He loved baseball and the coaching had already begun for 15 month old grandson Blake. Jerry will always be loved and cherished by his family and all who knew and enjoyed life with him. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 4th at 3:00 pm and services will be at 4:00 pm at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel located at 1400 Main Street in Hopkins, MN.
