Obituary of Frank Ahles, 94, Little Falls, MN, Feb 14, 1906- Jan 22, 2001in the St. Cloud Times Newspaper Wednesday Jan. 24, 2001:
"Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Convent Chapel for Frank J. Ahles, 94, who died Monday at St. Otto's Care Center. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Austin (MN). Friends may call one hour before services Thursday at the chapel in Little Falls. Arrangements were made by Shelley Funeral Chapel, Little Falls.
Frank Ahles was born in Albany to Joseph and Elizabeth (Nett) Ahles. He married Pauline Dunn. He was employed in farming and in various positions at Hormel Pakcing Compay in Austin for 12 years. He later worked at the Minneapolis Tribune in building maintenance until 1967,when his wife died. He then moved to Cudahy, Wis., where he was employed at Trinity Memorial Hospital in building maintenance until his retirement.
He married Mary Wozniak in 1969, and they lived in Milwaukee. He had been a resident of St. Otto's Care Center since August 1998.
Survivors include his children, Marshall Ahles of Blaine, and Lester Ahles of Anoka; stepchildren, Robert Wozniak of Oak Creek, Wis.,Ruth Jashek of Shawano, Wis., and Irene Galipo of New Berlin, Wis.; brother and sisters, the Rev. Jerry, OFM, of San Miguel, Calif., SisterAsumpta, OSF, Sister Lucina, OSF, Sister Antonette, OSF, and SisterJoanne, OSF, of Little Falls; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his second wife,; children, Donna and Sharon; one infant daughter; brothers and sisters, Norbert, Paul, Raymond, Mechoir, Sister Theophane, OSF, and Sister Dolores, OSF.
