Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral Lower Church for Theresa Majerus, 86, formerly of 1201 Ninth Ave. S, who died Tuesday at Villa Vista Care Center, Cromwell. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud. Friends may call one hour before services Friday at the church in St. Cloud. Arrangements were made by Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Theresa Majerus was born near Pearl Lake to Henry and Mary (Krier) Harren. She married Norbert C. Majerus on April 7, 1947, at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. She lived in St. Cloud since 1952 and was employed as a communications assistant by the St. Cloud Hospital for 37 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish and St. Anne's Christian Women.
Survivors include her daughters and son, Roxanne Stuhlfeier of Blaine, Gretchen Wain of Floodwood, and Jerry of Lewistown, Mont.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brothers and sisters, Austin "Doc" of Cold Spring, Nicholas of Coon Rapids, Victoria Wahnschaffe of Rockville, Estelle Klemmer of Albany and Bernadette Kuefler of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 4, 1999; and brothers, George, Luke, David, Arthur, Alois and Henry. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
