Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, May 29th at 11:00 AM at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville for Victoria A. Wahnschaffe, age 92, of St. Cloud formerly of Grand Lake, who died on Friday at St. Benedicts Center. Rev. Tony Oelrich will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday between 4:00-9:00 PM and on Tuesday after 9:00 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home in ST.JOSEPH. Christian Women will pray at 5:30 PM followed by the Parish Prayers at 6:00 PM.
Victoria was born December 23rd, 1914 in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County to Henry and Mary (Krier) Harren. She married Ralph E. Wahnschaffe on June 2nd, 1942 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Victoria was employed as a social worker for Stearns County from 1966-1976. She and her husband Ralph made their home on Grand Lake for many years. Victoria was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville and Christian Women.
Survivors include her children, Donald Wahnschaffe (Mary) Riverside, CA, Dale Wahnschaffe (Betty), St. Cloud; brothers and sisters, Austin Doc Harren (Mary), Cold Spring, Nicholas Harren, Coon Rapids, Bernadette Kuefler, St. Cloud, Estelle Klemmer, Albany; grandchildren, Michelle Roberts (John), Monticello, Douglas Wahnschaffe (Robyn), Otswego, Eric Wahnschaffe (Nicole Stommes), St. Cloud, Todd Wahnschaffe (Lori Helget), Pleasant Lake, Charlotte Murphy (Steve), St. Cloud; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Kay Harren, Champlain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph on, June 2nd, 1985, and seven brothers and sisters. The family would especially like to thank the entire staff at St. Benedicts Center Complex for their superior care they gave our mother over the past five years.
