I have met a number of his former high school students who described him as an excellent teacher. He started a business college in St. Cloud and continued to teach as well as to administer the college until his retirement.
He married Kathryne Macho and they had 5 children. Uncle Nick also loved to sing and sang in church choirs. He directed the choir at Holy Angels Cathedral (later the status of the church was changed) inSt. Cloud for some years and his children joined it as teenagers.
