Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Munich, for Dorothy B. Stroeing, 73, formerly of New Munich, who died Saturday at Sterling Park Commons, Waite Park.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Monday and one hour before services Tuesday at the church in New Munich. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Arrangements were made by Patton-Schad Funeral Service, Melrose.
Dorothy Stroeing was born in St. Martin Township, Stearns County, to Frank and Anna (Buettner) Stroeing. She moved to St. Cloud in 1957 to work for a dry cleaning business. She worked at the VA Medical Center in the laundry department for 23 years, retiring in 1989. She moved to Waite Park in 1998. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, St. Cloud.
Survivors include sisters and brothers, Leora Honer and Celestine of St. Joseph, Sylvester, Mary Ellen Rosen and Vernon of Freeport, Evelyn Voller of Holdingford, Wilfred of Waite Park, Marvin of New Munich, and Rita Stang of Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Cloud Hospice.
