Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 4, 2002, at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin, MN for Norbert J. Arceneau, age 76, who died Saturday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Martin Parish Center. The St. Benedict Society will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m., parish prayers will be at 8:00 p.m., St. Joseph Society and Knights of Columbus will pray a rosary at 9:00 p.m.
Norbert was born in St. Martin to John and Theresia (Blonigen) Arceneau. Norbert was a World War II Veteran. He was a farmer and mail carrier until his retirement.
Survivors include his brothers; Alois and Elmer of St. Martin and Bernard of Elrosa; sisters, Margaret Hellmann of Melrose, Jenny Blommel of Grey Eagle, Anna Mae Schneider of Meire Grove, and Della Feldewerd of St. Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Hildegard Lemke, Dorothy Wenker, Betty Herzog; brothers, Edwin and Clarence. Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society-Stearns East.
