"Mrs. Homberg, 88, Dies at Home Here
Mrs. Mary Homberg, 88, died Thursday morning at her home, 1209 Sixth avenue north. She had been ill the last two months. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from O'Connors chapel and at 9:15 at St. Ann's cathedral when requiem mass will be offered. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Friends will meet tonight at 7 at O'Connors to recite the rosary.
Mrs. Homberg was born Feb. 9, 1862, at Holy Cross, Wisconsin. She lived in Melrose, Minn, for 25 years before she and her husband, Joseph Homberg took up a homestead at Power, Mont., in 1913. Homberg died in March 1943.
Since that time Mrs. Homberg had made her home here with her daughter, Mrs. Alvina Bailey. She is survived by seven sons and daughters - Joe Homberg, Power Hardy Homberg, Mrs. Bailey, Mrs. Angela Stanger, and Mrs. Eleanor Stahlecker, all of Great Falls; Mrs. Appolonia Wardinsky, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Rose Koch, San Francisco - and 15 grandchildren. "
