At this time he lived on his farm in Greenwald, Stearns County, MN with his wife, Katherine (56) who was born in Westphalia and either immigrated or was naturalized or started the proceedings in 1866 and their children; Lena, Daughter, 26 born in MN; Henry A., Son, 16, born in MN; Theodore L., Son, 14, born in MN; and Lorenz F., Son, 11, born in MN.
Also living with them at this time was Anna M. Schulte (Katherine's mother) who was 88 and was born in Westphalia, Germany. She was a widow in 1920.
Catholic Church in Greenwald was named for him, St. Andrews as he was a prominent and "wealthy" dairy farmer in the town.
