Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle for Dorothy Jacobs who died Wednesday, May 18 at the Melrose Area Hospital. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph's chapel in Grey Eagle. Christian Mothers will pray at 6 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7 p.m. Friday evening.
Dorothy Jacobs was born October 22, 1914 in Birchdale Township, Todd County to Nicholas and Mae (Pluth) Berscheid. She was united in marriage to James Prodinsky and after he died she married Adrian Jacobs.
Survivors include her children, Jane Ilgen (Dale) of Grantsburg, WI, Jim Prodinsky (Carol) of Melrose and Carol Bhagroo (Deon) of Andover; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; brother, Eddie Berscheid (Rosie).
