Robert Edmund Beaumont Sr.
(July 6, 1933 - May 15, 2005)
Robby Beaumont is a cousin to the other Beaumonts. He plays the Dobro( (resonator guitar) and violin in the band. Robby has played in many bands but is currently in a duo with Dennis Devine called BeauVine (playing at clubs) he also plays piano, saxophone,bass and who knows what else.
BEAUMONT, Robert Edmund, 71, of San Antonio, Fla., died Sunday, May 15, 2005, at East Pasco Medical Center.
Born in Sewickley, Pa., to the late Thomas W. Beaumont Sr. and Madeline Govreau Beaumont, he was predeceased by brothers, Thomas Beaumont Jr. and David Beaumont. He will be remembered as an entertainer to family and friends, and received numerous awards as director of the Boys Village from 1986-2000.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Lynn Beaumont (Leo Krzewina) of San Antonio; two sons, Robert Beaumont Jr. of San Antonio and David Beaumont of San Antonio; two grandsons, Ryan Fleming and Christopher Fleming of San Antonio; two brothers, William Beaumont of Fort Meyers and Tim Beaumont of Clearwater; three sisters, Jeanne Beaumont Winner of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mary Beaumont Schrader of San Antonio and Madeline Beaumont of Dade City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, at the corner of 5t h and Church. The funeral Mass will be offered 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio followed by burial at St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery.
