Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church for Olivia Faust, 90, who died Tuesday at St. Mary's Villa.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until services Friday at Brenny Funeral Home. Christian Mothers will pray at 4:30 tonight at the funeral home in Pierz followed by parish prayers at 7:30 and Knights of Columbus Office of the Dead prayers at 8:30.
Olivia Faust was born in St. Martin to Henry and Pauline (Ortmann) Welle. She received her teaching degree from St. Cloud Teachers College in 1931. She taught school in several small towns in Minnesota. She married Ed Faust on June 16, 1936, in Pierz. She was a member of Christian Mothers and a volunteer at St. Mary's Villa for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Annette Moran of West St. Paul and Marjorie Kujawa of Buckman; sister and brothers, Lydia Flicker of Little Falls, Henry and Harold of Lastrup; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oct. 8; sisters and brothers, Hildegarde, Elizabeth, Sr. Mary Carletta, Marie, Norbert, Victor, Ambrose and Herman.
