Walter Francis Gude

GUDE, Walter F., 78, of Dade City, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007. Walt was a lifelong resident of the St. Joe Community and is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice; his daughters, Susie Fagan and her husband, Tom, and Robin Spears and her husband, Mark; and son, Buddy.
He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Miranda, Lindsay, Katie, Justin and Hannah. Additional survivors are his sister, Margaret Hays (Ray, now deceased); brother, Albert Gude (Sara); and many nieces and nephews.
Walt wass predeceased by sisters, Delores Johnston (Ray, nowdeceased), and Veronica Berry (Don, now deceased); and brothers, A.J. "Buck" Gude (Nettie Lou), William Gude (Juanita) and Dennis Gude (Betty). A visitation and rosary will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Joseph. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, at Sacred Heart. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walt' s honor may be made to the cardiac care unit of Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, 7050 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills, FL 33541.
