Individual Details

Francis "Fannie" Beatrice Ingram

(5 Mar 1853 - 23 Sep 1921)

Fannie, Jerry's second wife, gave him eleven children and was a loving mother to her five step-children as well. She suffered with chronic Bright's Disease, but died of an apparent heart attack while in a car on the way to see a son. As the story has been remembered by members of the family, the family was returning from Carthage, via Old Hill's Lake Road. Just as they reached the Boren home, she had the apparent heart attack. She was carried from their Model-T Ford into the Boren's home where she died. She is buried with Jerry at Deadwood Methodist Church Cemetery (tombstone photograph available). Fanny came to Panola County with her parents in 1869.
