Individual Details

Sina Ann Alexander

(6 May 1843 - 27 Jan 1931)

Sina Ann used Annie as her name on the census. Her second husband, Washington Lafayette Cromwell, received a Confederate pension that continued after his death. She appeared on the 1870 Caddo Parish, LA census with L. Cromwell and Alick, age 10. This would have been Alexander, the only surviving son of Washington's previous marriage to Sina Carson Alexander. Sina Ann indicated on the 1900 Panola County census that she had five children, three of which were still living. In her will, she left everything to her daughter Maggie C. Anderson.

She also went by "Anna" Cromwell per her brother Jerry Alexander's obituary in 1927.
