------------------
Well Known Farmer Who Lived Southwest of Cicero
-----------
After having been in poor health for five or six years, due to a complication of ailments, and having spent several weeks in the Hamilton County hospital last fall, Alvin Foulke, aged fifty-nine, died, Wednesday night, at his home four miles southwest of Cicero. He had been living on what is known as the Joe Jennings farm for several years. The funeral will be held at the residence at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning, with Rev. Lindley Reagan in charge of the services, and the interment will take place in the Sheridan cemetery. C. J. Harris of Cicero has charge of the funeral arrangements.
The deceased lost his wife three years ago. He is survived by two sons, Russell and Herbert Foulke, and three half sisters, Mrs. Robert Ross, Mrs. Roberts [Robbins] and Mrs. Phillips. Four grandchildren are also living.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Foulke and spent all of his life farming in the community in which he died. He was related to the widely known Foulke family of the northwestern part of the county.
