Misc.
I give & devise unto my son John Foulk all my Land & plantation whereonI now live in the said Township of Richland, together with all the Buil-
dings and Improvements thereunto belonging, saving to my wife
the privileges aforesaid during her life. To hold the said Land & ??-
???, to him the said John Foulke his heirs & assigns forever, out
of which the said John Foulke shall pay unto my Executors herein
after named the sum of three Hundred & Twenty five pounds and
if I shall dye before my wife, the said John Foulke shall pay to his mother
my said wife, the sum of twelve pounds yearly during her live, and
shall keep her house in good order & properly shod at all times, & shall pro-
vide for her sufficient firewood, fit for her harth & stove, delivered in her
room, & make her fires upon all necessary occasions, but if she shall
chuse to live with one of her other children, he the said John shall pay her
the sum of fifteen pounds yearly during the time she shall live ab-
sent from my Sd dwelling House, but if I survive my said wife,
my said son John shall pay out of the premises the sum of three
hundred & twenty five pounds in three annual payments from
the time of my decease. [1]
- My son John is to have the use of my Servant Abner Dalby for the re-
mainder of the term of his Indenture, the conditions of which he
the said John Foulk shall punctually observe and fulfill ???. [2]
- P. S. Sd Son John shall make the Entry at the Back door of my Sd
dwelling House as it was when first made for the convenience of his mother when-
ever She shall give up to him the use of the front Room he shall also make a door
out of the stair closet into the stove room for her use when required ---- [2]
