Obituary
PRESQUE ISLE - Dr. Maxwell Eugene Macdonald, 79, died March 16 in Boston, Mass. He was born in Presque Isle, December 26, 1895, son of Harry and Gertrude (Morrell) Macdonald. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Lovejoy) Macdonald of Milton, Mass., three daughters, Mrs. Martha Palfrey of Duxbury, Mass., Mrs. Janice Doyle of Glendora, Calif., Dr. Constance Macdonald of Seattle, Washington, and several grandchildren. The funeral service will be private. Interment will be East Corinth at a later date.Funeral Notice
Private services will be held today for Dr. Maxwell Eugene MacDonald, 79, of 285 Clarendon st., Back Bay, who died Sunday at Massachusetts General Hospital. A neurologist, he retired from private practice last year. He served as commander in the Navy Reserve during World War II. Dr. Macdonald was a member of the American Medical Assoc., and a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society for more than 50 years.Endnotes
