Marriage
They were married by Rev. J. J. White. Evelyn was the widow of Horace E. Barnum. Prior to his death, Horace Barnum was the county auditor for Fresno County and, in fact, was Eugene's boss. For several years, Eugene had boarded with the Barnums in Fresno as well. The couple had no children.Endnotes
