Obituary
LEVANT. Nov. 6 - Elwin Fremont Waugh, 89, died at his home here Nov. 6 after a brief illness. He died in the same house he was born in, and was one of the town's valued citizens as well as being its oldest, having held the gold-headed cane for some years. Surviving him are his wife, Edith M. Waugh; a son, Harvey C. of Drexel Hill, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. W. J. Young of Barre, Vt.; a brother, Bert of Levant; two grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at his home Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Interment will be in the Waugh cemetery, Levant.Endnotes
