Obituary
M. Patricia Jameson, wife of Gilbert H. Jameson, died Sept. 6, 1990, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born in Bangor, the daughter of Thomas F. and Alice M. (Pelkey) Wakely. She graduated from St. John's Grammar School and John Bapst High School. She was employed at Bel Aircraft in Buffalo, N.Y., during World War II, and later worked at American Optical in Bangor. She was manager of the Clarendon Inn. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and St. John's Womens Council. In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, M. Patricia and Paul Belanger of Bangor; one son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert H. and Jill (Culver) Jameson of Ellsworth; one sister, Mrs. Alfred (Regina) Tilley of Bangor; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Belanger, "Gibb" and Paige Jameson; one aunt, Mrs. Joseph (Georgie) Drouin; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Fred (Katherine) Weber and Miss Christina Jameson, all of Bangor; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Ken Wakely. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Foley Funeral Service of Union Street, Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the family lot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends who wish may make contributions in her memory to a charity of their choice.Endnotes
