Obituary of Henry Windisch

Henry Windisch, 60, Prairie Village, died Sept. 19, 1994, at St. Joseph Health Center.

Mr. Windisch was born in Louisburg, Kan, and lived in this are most of his life. He was an electrical engineer for Black & Veatch for 41 years. He was a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Power Engineering Society. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University, Manhattan in 1957.

Survivors include his wife, Winifred Windisch of the home; a son, Michael Windisch, Liberty; three daughters, Sharon Beilharz, Phoenix, Deanna Schleicher, Shawnee, and Lynda Bentler, St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers Earl Windisch, Overland Parka and William Windisch, Louisburg; a sister, Marjorie Masterson, Scottsdale, Ariz; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Prairie Village; burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Newcomer’s Overland Park Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to Light House.
