Obituary of Laura May Hale

Laura May Hale, 74, of 303 W. Church St., Americus, died Monday night, March 30, 1992 at Sumter Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, from Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Frederick Philputt officiating.

A native and lifelong resident of Americus, Miss Hale was the daughter of the late Charles Monroe Hale and Laura Ansley Hale. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Barbara Hale Kinnamon, of East Point, Ga.; two nieces, Mrs. Ansley Monaghan, of Atlanta, and Ms. Charlene Hale, Tallahassee; a nephew, R. Lee Kinnamon, of Americus; and a sister-in-law, Abbie Hale, of Americus.
