Joanna Arnold
(February 27, 1617 - 1692)
Joanna Arnold came to America with her family from Ilchester England. In 1636 the family was in the first group of settlers of Rhode Island- with Roger Williams. Joanne married first Zachariah Rhodes, she was in her 30s he was in his 40s. He died she then married Samuel Reape. Some sources say the Arnold family which includes Benedict the governor and Benedict the traitor are descended from King Charlemagne.
