Polly Ann Howard

(October 27, 1813 - November 5, 1858)

Polly Ann Howard was born in 1831 somewhere in Kentucky. By 1833 she was married to Benjamin Swain, probably in Indiana. In 1837 the Swains are pioneers on Lake County Illinois. Polly and Benjamin had 4 children. Benjamin died in 1847, Polly is executor of his will. In 1849 Polly married John Howard and by 1856 they were living in Floyd County, Iowa. Polly's dad Elbert was also living there.
