Lola M. Miller

Lola was born December 22, 1880 in Bremer County, Iowa. She was a twin with sister Lela, they grew up in a large farming family. In 1903 Lola married William Miller, they had 2 children. During World War 1 Lola was a Red Cross treasurer. Lola, William and their 2 teenagers took an auto trails trip to Wisconsin in 1920 when autos were just coming to Iowa. Lola and William visited Oregon often, and moved there at William's retirement. Both she and her husband died in Oregon and were buried in Greene, Iowa.
