Casjen Heyen Frerichs

(February, 1834 - November 6, 1893)

Casjen was born in Germany and came to America when he was about 49 with his wife Kuna and children. They arrived in Baltimore and were pretty quickly set up in Parkersburg. Casjen and Kuna are buried in Parkersburg they share a handcrafted headstone. I need some stories about Casjen but have none right now

Residence

Casjen was in America only 10 years. The 1890 US census was destroyed in a fire, the Frerichs family to yet found on the 1885 Iowa census. They were in Iowa, probably near Parkersburg.

Occupation

On his arrival card Casjen, listed as Casper, is a farmer, so is his wife Kuna.
