"GUY VAUGHN
Guy L. Vaughn, age 73, formerly of Dazey, died in the Sheyenne Care Center Thursday morning, March 15, 1984.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Monday, March 19 from Oliver's Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Rydquist officiating. Burial will be in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery in Dazey at a later date.
Guy L. Vaughn was born Oct. 27, 1910 at Pierpont, S.D., the son of James and Amelia Vaughn. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith there. In 1912, the family moved to the Dazey community. He was confirmed in Dazey and received his education in the Dazey schools.
He was a custodian at the school, church and city hall in Dazey. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Dazey. He had never married.
He is survived by a brother, Harvey of Dazey; three sisters, Lilah Applegarth of Orlando, Fla.; Irene Sorenson of Seattle, Wash.; and Sylvia Edblad of Jacobson, Minn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Oliver's Chapel after 1p.m. Sunday."
