William attended the marriage ceremony and the church marriage certificate was filled out. But Elizabeth and William were not married as Elizabeth did not make an appearance! This was recorded by the vicar Thomas Bevan. They were to be married by licence.Elizabeth Delahay. Baptised 30th July 1835.
Father James Delahay, driver of Conduit Lane, Carmarthen. (Born abt 1788 in Carmarthen).
Mother Ann. Born about 1791 in Lampeter Velfrey, Pembrokeshire.
In 1851 James was a Chelsea Pensioner and lived in Conduit Lane with his wife Ann and Daughter Elizabeth.
Elizabeth married Daniel Jones a tinplate shearer (b. abt 1833 in Llanelli) in Dafen Parish Church, Llanelli on the 17th of March 1861.
