Notes
Birth
We know of Benjamin Moshontz from the marriage record of his son Jacob and from the unpublished manuscript of Mark Teitelbaum,Israel Moshontz: At the present time there is no definitive evidence as to the relationship of Israel and Benjamin Moshontz. However, I believe that based on a name and chronological analysis, Israel Moshontz is the son of Benjamin Moshontz. Each of the known 4 Moshontz children named one of their daughters Esther after Benjamin Moshontz's wife Esther. In addition, the time frames fit. This would make my mother, Pearl Nagel Isaacson, the first cousin of Esther Moshontz Kra. More research needs to be done.
Occupation
According to Pearl Teitelbaum Lukin he was a lumber merchant in Zabiele, Poland. Zabiele is a village midway between Ostroleka and Krasnosielc, Poland.Endnotes
