According to the passenger list of the SS Gdansk, Moses and Rachel Lewinski arrived in NYC on January 29, 1921 having left Danzig on January 13, 1921. He was 60 years old and a blacksmith and had $35. Rachel Lewinski was 60 years old. He could read and write Polish. She could read but not write Polish. Their last residence was Suwalki, Poland and their destination was their son Harry Lewin at 1107 N. Leavitt St. Chicago, Illinois. Their nearest relative in Poland was their daughter Dyna Ender of 30 Moskawaka St. Suwalki, Poland. He had a dark complexion, black hair and gray eyes; he was born in Suwalki, Poland.
