She declared that she was 24 years old, married, and could read and write Hebrew. Her last permanent residence was Pultusk, Poland and her nearest relative was her sister Ch. Segat of Puttusk. Her final destination was Chicago. She was going to join her husband Sam Goldstein at 2149 W. Division St. Chicago, ILL. (a fictitious name since her actual husband was Charles Cohen [Kra]). The following obit appeared in the August 3, 1960, Chicago Tribune:"Mrs. Esther Rachael Cohen, 63, of 6500 N. Leavitt St., died Tuesday in Edgewater hospital. Mrs. Cohen's husband, Charles, recently retired
from the custom tailor business at the corner of Franklin and Van Buren streets. Other survivors are three sons, Morton, Harry, and Ted Kray, and a daughter, Blossom. Services will be held at 2:45 p. m. Wednesday in the
chapel, 1300 Devon Ave."
