Mary Scott
(5 Jan 1806 - 17 Nov 1842)
Both of her children died in 1862 during the Civil War. Son Charles was killed at the second Battle of Bull Run. Daughter Mary, who had married Colonel Charles Scott, was drowned in a collision on the Potomac River of the "West Point" with the "George Peabody." She was returning from a visit to her husband.
