On her death record the parents are given as John Scott and Susan Mahen. Susan Mabin is supposed to be who her brother John married in Mississippi. Since Nancy is not in the will of her supposed father, perhaps she does not go in this family -- keep looking. But her marriage record has her parents as John and Bethiah -- so maybe really is John and Bethiah -- and perhaps the Susan Mahen is a confusion with the son's wife by the informant when Nancy died at age 89.
