Property
On 1 October 1825, Nathaniel Peabody yeoman ofDracut, in consideration of one hundred dollars and love and good will towardshis son, conveyed to Nathaniel Peabody, Jr. one undivided half of the homesteadfarm with buildings, the farm containing by estimation 80 acres. Nathaniel. Jr.also receives one undivided half of a property Nathaniel purchased from JohnBarker on 16 April 1825, this being property from the dower thirds of the latewidow Lois Peabody. Nathaniel reserves to himself use of the property duringhis natural life. On 8 December 1827, Nathaniel conveyed to other half of theproperties for one hundred dollars and love and goodwill towards his son. On 7May 1833, Moses Peabody with his wife Hannah J. Peabody and Nathaniel Peabody,Jr. and his wife Mary, each for ten dollars, quitclaimed to each other theirinterest in the halves of the property.
