Theodore Lindsey

Theodore and Sarah (with their infant daughter Mildred and Sarah's sister, Mrs. Keilhauer) came up the Missouri River on the steamboat Benton from Omaha, Nebraska to Fort Benton, Montana leaving Nebraska in April of 1881. They arrived at Fort Benton on May 30, 1881.
Theodore and his family homesteaded at Brooks, Montana. Theodore Lindsey was a farmer and stock raiser. He hauled freight from Maiden to Fort Benton, Helena, and Big Sandy. In 1934, he moved to Ilwaco, Pacific, Washington where he died and was buried in 1941.
