Individual Details
Mildred Lindsey
(8 Mar 1880 - 26 Jan 1941)
Mildred came with her parents from Omaha, Nebraska in 1881, making the long trip up the Missouri River to Fort Benton, Montana, when she was an infant of less than one year. Mildred never married. She lived with her parents. After her mother's death in 1925, she continued to live with her father, Theodore, until he moved to Washington in 1934. She then lived with her sister Mabel near Becket, Montana, until her death. Theodore is buried in Ilwaco, Washington. Whoever purchased his burial plot, purchased two plots. The second plot still remains empty. Was it intended for Mildred? Mildred died of a heart attack two weeks after Theodore died. She is buried in the Lewistown City Cemetery.
