Vern Harold Knerr
(1 Sep 1904 - 13 Sep 1984)
Vern was a farmer, rancher, and sheep shearer. He was the family historian and loved his grandchildren, dancing, and having fun. Vern also enjoyed dowsing or "witching" for water. Vern worked at the Kendall Mine near Brooks in the 1930s and his grandson, Jay Gremaux, worked there all through the 1990s and was still working there as of July 31, 2001.
